Hopefully they will point out he has a conflict of interest
and so should conduct his legal challenge from outside the embassy.

I'd been wondering about that.
With my jurisprudentialist's hat on, "I'm going to ignore the authority of the courts except when it suits me not to" is an interesting position, and not one that has a huge amount of support in the literature.
