Well it puts names and details onto each one rather than "just another drone strike" that hardly even gets reported now.
That context.
"7th November: a strike at night in a village 40km from Sana’a. Alleged al Qaeda leader Adnam al Qathi and his bodyguards Rablee Lahib and Radwan al Hashidi were killed. A child and two others are also reported injured. Drones had been seen over the area for three days."

I guess it's trying to use a familer bit of social media to get a jaded nation to notice Obama is killing lots of people in countries that we're not at war with and call allies.
And Pakistan has asked that could they please stop blowing them up, thanks.

It's taking a collection of photos of a very serious subject, prettying them up by applying 'vintage' filters to them, adding a bit of fake vignetting, and then posting them on a blogging system designed for rapid turnover.
