How do I know its "blog-spam"?
Because I reported a number of b3ta users in the past for spamming links to the very same sites, users that were banned/deleted, only for other new users to mysteriously appear a week or two later and post links to the same relatively unheard-of shitty group of generic blogs with generic blog-spam content... you're just the latest one (along with cancerik).

So either rob/cr3/whoever-at-b3ta shares the exact same paranoia, or I'm right.
...OR, he's just a genuine person who doesn't seem to "get" b3ta (i.e. they weren't a lurker) and posts individual meme images they found on reddit on /links AND THEN just happens to post links to a set of blogs which all share the exact same WHOIS details as each other and just happen to be associated with a string of spammers in the past who were banned and one other who signed up in the past week and so still has their L plate.

because, 1 - there are only 16 links to funniestcorner.com on the whole of reddit, and 2 - unsurprisingly all of the users who posted those 16 links have had their accounts reported to /r/reportthespammers and were deleted... fancy that eh!
...and it's the same story for all the 24 links to cool-story.com - all the users who posted links to it have been deleted for spamming... including users named cancerik, cancerik2, cancerik3 and cancerikdime.

And for the "connection" between me and some new user, I find it hilarious. I mean, now, every new user that posts link to site I've posted about, or just something similar to it is somehow related to me? Yeh, if you take as related watching over the same subreddit, or liking the same facebook page, I guess its all connected. But, then, I am sure you didn't think about that "connection". So, don't just jerk around, and sometime say something positive about something. Take a brighter look at the world and the internet. There is no conspiracy everywhere against you. Don't be so grumpy and, man, there is a world out there as well, its not only b3ta. Get out a little bit. 5 years on b3ta have influenced your life I guess. Relax a bit and continue then. Uh. To be honest.
I do not enjoy his posts, and he may be spammer, but I wouldn't judge so fast (in principle), as I was myself labelled as pusher/whatever just because I've been reading b3ta/newsletter for so long that I haven't thought how suspicious would it look to post facebook advert as first link (because drink had stupid name and I wanted to show official page)...
So yeah. Semi-compassionate about maybe-spammer, but just _in principle_.

IF you want the community to grow
You will have to think like this guy. Although he suspects I am spammer as well, he doesn't just go shitting around, but says it in polite way. B3ta won't grow if you call every new user a spammer. If mr.shit has almost 5 years on b3ta, it can't be the case for everyone. Some of us also have a life and don't just wait for new victim on b3ta to say he is spammer.
