New International Version, quite popular with the Evangelicals, not actually very good. I don't know if there is a particularly recognisable edition of it.

I didn't really find this funny. The man did nothing violent and yet was pepper sprayed and beaten to the point where the caller thought he couldn't get up.
Sure he was in the wrong to run the light, but the appropriate sentence for that is not chemicals to the eyes and four-on-one assault - nor is it for them to dish out, even if it was.
