The phone isn't an ideal way to get in touch with hospitals at all, this nurse only spoke to her due to the fact she thought it was the Queen so normal rules didn't apply, no questions were asked regarding the identity of the caller to be certain they should be disclosing the information.
The nurses fucked up because they thought the Royal family aren't to be questioned or treated the same as the family/relatives of other 'common' patients.

That crane is still there
On a building site. Doing building work. It even has a ladder on it so the people can get to it. I didn't sleep at all last night thinking about it, which might explain me being cranky.
