and the ocean is blue because it reflects the blue sky
and water is actually blue too, but so feint that you need lots of it to notice it, and by then its reflecting other colours, like the sky anyway.

Speaking of light, yes, you are correct.
But average person could think more like
him (compare mixing paints).
About blue, uh no. I'll just leave it.
