This is a normal post I don't get it
I do think there are legit reasons to be worried about Facebook privacy, but if I 'liked' prostitutes on my public profile, I'd kind of assume people would see it. Or am I missing something?

This is a normal post also puzzled about that, whats the point of telling anyone except prostitutes that you like prostitutes?

This is a normal post It's not entirely inconsistent
to like a people's cuisine, but not want lots of them living in your country. I mean they undoubtedly are racist knuckle-dragging shitbags who wouldn't recognise a contradiction if it hit them in the face, but I'm just saying...

This is a normal post Oblig. NOTN
... But now that we've got the recipe, do they really have to stay?
(, Wed 23 Jan 2013, 12:13, , Reply)
This is a normal post I only see it as a privacy problem if you can search things about people that they have marked as non-public
But if people don't choose to keep their page private, I don't see the problem.

This is a normal post I'm glad I don't have an account
plus it would probably compromise my security.

This is a normal post What's a Facebook?
Seriously though, if anyone is surprised by this it shows what utter morons people who use Facebook are.

Not happy with it? Close your account.
But be aware that your details will stay with them for as long as their servers exist.

This is a normal post I left Facebook recently
but had to return to stay in touch with distant relatives. In all the time I've had it I've never posted anything on it I didn't want / care about being public. If stuff is supposed to be private, you shouldn't be posting on the interwebz let alone a public place like farcebook / myspace / twatter. If you do then your as thick as pigshit. I tell them that when they post their little "privacy" statuses. I say "Your as thick as pigshit"

This is a normal post I tried to check out NEW MySpace the other day
to see what it will do... two options on page "Sign Up" or "Login".
Nothing else

So, I've got to give them all my details before I can even find out what the site is going to do.

Sod off

This is a normal post It tells you quite clearly
Rebuilt. Redesigned. Reinvented.

What more do you need to know?!

This is a normal post What does it do?
What is it for?
Why do I need it?

You know, stuff that would convince people to give you all your details

EDIT: I may have missed the subtle humour in your post, If so apologies.

This is a normal post I've quit Facebook a few times in annoyance over privacy issues etc
but gone back for the same reasons as you - too many people I want to be in touch with use it as their main method of keeping in touch with friends / family.

Last night (for example) I caught up with the B3tan Superpowerless and I wouldn't have known he was in town if he hadn't posted on FB something about it.

This is a normal post I succesfully sued Facebook over privacy issues about 7 years ago
I was part of the lawsuit that allowed users to finally delete their details, rather than just 'de-activate' their account...which was completely and utterly illegal.

Assume everything that you ever put on there will be sold, used or exposed to everyone that you don't want it to and use it accordingly.

This is a normal post i think it is common sense really, which many many people lack,
this is pretty much what i have told my kids:'If it’d be awkward if it was put on a screen in Times Square, don’t put it on Facebook. Oh, and check your privacy settings again.' they seem to get it, but many 'adult' friends of mine seem completely clueless. one went so far as to blame facebook's lack of privacy on his divorce, which is really quite laughable as he was interacting with his mistress daily on FB, as if no one would see it.

This is a normal post I'm thinking what I'd find "awkward, if put on a screen in Times Square"
...seems I'm more of an exhibitionist than I thought.
