I didn't fancy it by the trailer...the actors all looked too clean and fancy compared to the book.

But I thoroughly enjoyed the film.

This is a normal post the book's great fun
and that is enough to make me want to watch the film, even though I can't see how they could possibly have translated it to the screen effectively as the book is pretty nuts and sprawling.

Mind you, I said the same about Top Gun.

This is a normal post I very much enjoyed this film too
Not many people did; it's properly paced dark humour and it has Bruce Campbell.

I think... If you liked Mystery Men (which I did A LOT) then you might get on well with BHT
