I hope it'll take after/before the feel of the movies rather than the series. Either way, so long as there are multiped tanks aplenty I'll go away satisfied. Would prefer there to be less in the way of pop music*, but you can't have everything.
Will Batou be in it do you think? I noticed the Old Ape was in the trailer and it'd be nice to see the big guy return too.
*It took me ages to find the music box music from Innocence but it was worth it. The same can't be said for much of the SAC soundtrack, sadly.

Yep,
he's in this character-based teaser/trailer.
I'm a fan of Shirow's original manga and Oshii's film adaptations, and enjoyed the SAC series, but I will reserve judgement of this until I've seen it.
