I did it on a shoestring budget of about 100 quid a week. Couchsurfing, hitching rides on cargo ships, selling my body etc. helped keep costs down.

There are about 40 countries that don't stamp your passport...
...and 160 that do!
Since us Brits can't get extra pages, I filled 4 bumper (48-page) passports.
