This is a normal post I don't really see how Germany accepting 1.2m Muslim refugees in one year isn't a problem
Or the 200,000 a year they've promised to "limit" it to.

Or the quota system that is the only rational response to the huge numbers of people desperately setting out from the North African shore (in the certain knowledge that Europeans will pick them up a couple of miles offshore - and well within the 12 mile limit).

And even if the migration ended tomorrow - which it won't - that is still a very considerable number of aliens (in every way) already in situ that the continent must somehow incorporate.

The sex assualts (sic) you mention (I guess you're talking Cologne?) were in fact committed by people who'd moved here LONG before the last years of refugee influx.
Not only that, but any reported increases in crimes by undocumented people were either minor drug possession or fare dodging.

Further, there was an increase in immigrant crime rates, but the majority was amongst people from the former USSR and Balkan states.

Stop talking utter bullshit on the numbers too - "Most" people didn't back leave - Ignoring the fact that we got nowhere near a 100% turnout the vote was basically 50-50.

The British have a fine tradition of rioting, the fact that you don't know that is shameful.

Peaceful demos achieve fuck all.

"Stop talking utter bullshit on the numbers too - "Most" people didn't back leave - Ignoring the fact that we got nowhere near a 100% turnout the vote was basically 50-50."

The turnout was over 70% that's a lot for a poll and if you can't be bothered to vote on one of the largest post war issues this country has faced then you don't need to count their opinion now.

"No-one that voted remain has changed their mind, wheras 30% of all the people that voted leave admit that they were conned by a bus."

You added the link later, after your initial post. Difficult for me to predict a ninja-edit. I like that it's a pro-government propaganda site, that unsurprisingly is backing the government line.

We've been around the houses on this one. I can show you polls and stats from places, you can do the same:
www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/new-poll-suggests-third-brits-11027263

Just because you're uncivilised and see rioting as British, I don't. I see the right to peaceful protest and using the official methods available as British, although I'm increasingly aware that a good few Brits are godawful human beings. When was the last time a riot achieved anything? Miner Strikes? That thing where all the kids in London got new trainers?

In terms of your bubble accusation, I think that's fair. I would never even consider a friendship or even voluntary acquaintance with anyone that voted Brexit - I don't know anyone in my close circle that didn't vote for remain and everyone else I'm aware of that voted for leave (at work and friends of friends) are the ill-educated, provincial types at work, who I already knew were little englander racists. There's no grey area here for me -
Unlike Trump I don't think there are any "good people" on the pro Brexit side and evidence continually backs me up.

This is a normal post So you're still paying the poll tax and letting black shirts walk across London then?
Miners? Orgreave was instigated by the government.

Don't all succeed I grant you like the anti student fee's riots of 2010 and black people are still dying in custody despite many race riots but I would suggest more would be if it wasn't for various riots in the 80's and 90's.

But whens the last time a peaceful protest changed anything?
The largest one I can think of was the Stop the War one but Blair took not one notice and we're in the state we are now.

Never had an issue with the poll tax personally (oh no a small fixed fee for all people equally!) and there's bugger all difference between the blackshirts and the likes of the EDL or UKIP, except for their arguably natty dress style.

I DID AN EDIT TOO, JUST TO ADD THIS COMMENT HERE

This is a normal post It's you fucking remoaners that are the ones in denial.
Day in, day out crying that 'the vote wasn't fair, this isn't how democracy is supposed to work.' Fuck the lot of you. Put me in charge and I'll show you how a real non-democracy works. You and your family will be in the first cattle-truck heading East.
You LOST the damn vote. And frankly, if I had a bullet for every fucking libtard that bitched and whined and threw their toys out of their crib WITHOUT EVEN HAVING GONE TO THE POLLING STATION I could fill about a dozen crematoriums in an hour.

Oh look you've gone back to your terrifying imaginary EU monsters under the bed argument again, just like Farage - At least he has a transparent agenda to protect his own off-shore wealth when the EU have said that they would be going after tax avoidance schemes in earnest.

The EU parliament is elected, the rest of the structure is a civil service, who, just like the British Civil Service, are indeed unelected. Are you going to vote to leave the Civil Service next? Do you have a problem with the people that work in the houses of parliament that weren't elected?
(, Fri 10 Nov 2017, 14:53, , Reply)
This is a normal post The EU parliament cannot make it's own legislation. It can merely rubber stamp laws passed to it.
No MEP or group of MEPs can even introduce a bill. It is the Commission, your so called civil servants, that make all the laws. The idea that the parliament can reject any law put to them remains theoretical. If you actually believe the European Parliament has any power you are even more ignorant than you are arrogant.

It remains theoretical because they never have. Name a law they rejected. While studying EU law for an LLB I was repeatedly told the Parliament had never rejected a law put to them. So just give me a source. Not about the hypothetical procedure, but about an actual law that was rejected.

That's so basic it's not even in constitutional law 101. Spastic.

Find something that was actually drafted as a law. Not a proposal, an actual law. Not like so much hot air you puff out of your gob.

This is a normal post How does something become a law?
It's proposed as a law! Here's a quote from the links above, which you clearly don't understand:
"A draft EU law that would enable any EU member state to restrict or prohibit the sale and use of EU-approved GMO food or feed on its territory was rejected by the European Parliament on Wednesday"

That's them rejecting a law. The ones that are current laws have not been rejected or they would not be laws you moron.

Gordon Brown...who I know most people F***ing hate, unfairly I think, said if the EU put down a game changer things could change.
