are issues are not to do with vikings but Normans. Brexit is down to our inability to integrate Normans. Every other migrant, invader or trespasser has been fine. Except Normans who divided the country, created an aristocracy, a landowning class and a set of property laws which has divided the nation ever since.
North v south is not even wrong. It'ds not about how you say 'bath' it's about whether you-have dinner at lunch time or 9pm

Parachute use to prevent death and major trauma when jumping from aircraft: randomized controlled trial
Objective To determine if using a parachute prevents death or major traumatic injury when jumping from an aircraft.
Design Randomized controlled trial.
Setting Private or commercial aircraft between September 2017 and August 2018.
Participants 92 aircraft passengers aged 18 and over were screened for participation. 23 agreed to be enrolled and were randomized.
Intervention Jumping from an aircraft (airplane or helicopter) with a parachute versus an empty backpack (unblinded).
Main outcome measures Composite of death or major traumatic injury (defined by an Injury Severity Score over 15) upon impact with the ground measured immediately after landing.
Results Parachute use did not significantly reduce death or major injury

(Sort of. Debatable, etc...)
BBC story here.
Virgin Galactic, two paying customers went up to 82.7km. That's "space" according to the US gov (over 80km); enough to award them astronaut wings, but not quite the generally accepted Kármán line of 100km.
Here is more info (video) by Scott Manley.

Anyway, he achieved some minor fame making these giant triangle pictures with spacey abstract designs. He told me about 10 years ago that he'd made a deal with Branson to take his canvases up when he started his commercial space flights. Presumably they were going to be worth more having been in "space". I might give him a bell to find out if the beardy billionaire followed through
