I've had this argument with my missus many times. They were not good. They were EMF without the physical presence and charm. And Ned's were even worse.

I find it amusing that profanity is censored from anything on the radio, given that radio has no watershed (particularly when rap records are butchered beyond coherence). I also enjoyed the fuss that was made when someone said "fucking" during an episode of The Moral Maze.

Carter USM were fan-bloody-tastic live. Even better before they had a couple of hits and the idiots started to turn up for a fight rather than a mosh.

Perhaps their ideas ran out towards the end but while they were good, they were very very good.
