This is a question First World Problems

Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

People who ignore chips in their windscreen and then one day - crack!
Then they complain about having to pay the excess to have their windscreen replaced.
If they'd repaired the chip it's usually covered by their insurance and it can be repaired at their work.

Gavin, 23, technician for Autoglass.

Autoglass repair, autoglass replace.

I prefer the Viz version of that jingle.
Autoglass repair, autoglass replace.
Jism in your hair, jism on your face.

Jism in my hair and face is always nice but I don't see how that's going to fix my windscreen.

i have 3 chips that have been there for two years, i rang them when i first noticed them and they told me that they were too small to be bothered with

You should check all of your computer chips to make sure they do not have chips.
One of my customers ignored a chip on his chip and one day crack.
His computer exploded and killed him.
By having the chipped chip repaired before it cracked it would have saved him an expensive death.

Pfft, Gavin, didn't see you sort Whitney's crack problem!
coat, gone

I had three windscreens which got chipped
and each time Autoglass went "Nope, can't repair it, we'll have to replace"

I'm not convinced Autoglass actually repair anything.

I have a chip in the current windscreen. Since I'm clearly going to have to pay for a new one at some point, I may as well wait for it to crack. It's been 2 years now.
