Evidence that you're getting oldYouthful as I am, I realised yesterday that I no-longer know, or care, who is #1 in the charts. Furthermore, it takes all day to get rid of a hangover and I now seem to have a profound interest in gardening. Worst is that I now use words like 'furthermore'.
What makes you think that you are getting old?

Went out with a girl who was a fair bit younger than me ...... and I said that her hair was like Animal, the drummer from The Muppets. She said 'who?' ...
'Y'know that mad drummer with the mad hair from the Muppets'
'The what?'
'The Muppets, for god's sake'
'Oh. You mean Muppet Babies. Nah. Never really watched it.'
We finished shortly after that.
She also thought that The Goonies was a classic.
