i havereferred for many years now, to my mum and dad as:
Parental Unit 1 (Maternal) and Parental Unit 1 (Paternal).
If i had a step father for example, he would be Parental Unit 2 (paternal) etc. But I dont have one.
My brother is Sibling Unit 1 (Fraternal)
Unsurprisingly, they;re not enamoured by the whole idea.
