This is a question Impulse buys

I'm now the owner of a monster trampoline that's nearly too big for the garden. Tell us your retail disasters and triumphs.

The exact text message I received from my mate:

"Joe's just got all pissed and bought an 11,000 watt angle grinder off of Ebay. The kind used for cutting up boats!"

That's not 11,000 RPM?

watts?
11000 watts at 240v would draw 46 amps. Even if its a 3-phase motor, it would still draw around 30 amps.
It must have a very thick cable!

1100 watts would be more likely.

I stand corrected.

I know very little about electricity, or angle grinders for that matter.

Every man needs
An angle grinder big enough to cut up a boat tucked away in his toolshed.

Its the law
