Nice one Chompy.
I note with interest that 60s boogeyman and US justice system anomaly Charles Manson is up for his 13th parole application. Whilst there isn’t a doubt in my mind that he was and almost certainly is Very Bad News, he is 77 years old. He is also inside for the Tate/LaBianca murders when there is no suggestion that he actually carried them out himself.

He’s still locked up for being the personification of the ‘dirty hippies’ who ‘ruined’ America in the late 60s as much for anything else. He is a symbol of the brief spell when ‘old skool’ America lost its grip and for that reason I suspect he’ll never be let out. They were fucking terrified of him, to the extent that he was forbidden from giving evidence at his own trial in case he somehow hypnotized the jury. Seriously.

How fucking medieval is that? Stupid cunts.

Who else is a stupid cunt?

Bastard Cyclists!

Cyclist almost made me crash! The bastard signalled to move into my lane, giving me plenty of time to slow down safely.

I was so surprised I lost concentration and almost ran a red light.

Cheers

Game of thrones season 2 started last night, OH BOY, I watched half the first eppisode on the way into work, got the second half on my way home.
Although now its light when I get home, I like looking out the window, I get to see the emerate's stadium and ally pally and a big jewsons that is nothing to do with me. It's weird, I now find the underground a bit depressing. I can't even update my facebook status on it.

Pasta salad for lunch, but I always feel weird eating stuff that requires a fork at work. I got some weird food habits in that respect.

My money tip is this week I've taken out all the money I think I'll spend for the week today, and I'm not going to use my card. That way I can see my money disappear and think "OH NOES, I DONT HAVE MUCH LEFT, I CANT BUY THIS".

Do you have any budgeting tips?

I've been told I'm not allowed to have a fridge in my office
Apparently this is something to do with the law governing electricity supplies in buildings. I reckon it's because they don't want me to have a fridge using up all that electricity.

What have you been told you can't do recently?
(, Mon 2 Apr 2012, 13:10, 121 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
This one's for Brits.
And Argentians. It's the 35th anniversary of the Falklands invasion. Does anyone care? Are "anniversaries" that important? It's the Queen's 60th this year, does this merit a fucking paegant?
Alt, brunch

Guten morgen meine kleine.
Good weekend? Shit weekend? Mediocre weekend? Do tell, unless of course you have nothing interesting or amusing to say, in which case by all means keep it to yourself, thanks.

I walked along the canal to Angel this morning. Normally I get a bus then a tube to get there, and was interested to see that it's only five mins slower on foot. Now my buttocks and thighs ache. Nice mental image for you all.

Alt: Anything exciting happening this (short) week?

Alt alt: I read this morning that in Austria they are bringing in ‘alco-locks’ for the cars of convicted drink-drivers: a kind of breathalyser-activcated entry system. Despite the rubbish name that seems to me like something that should be on all cars. What do you think? EDIT I feel this way about speed limiters like they have on lorries - why on earth isn't the fitting of limiters to prevent speeding a standard practice in all vehicles? Why is it even possible to speed? The cynic in me wonders if the revenue from tickets is the answer.

Alt alt alt: Reply 'Yes. You are a cunt' if you are an active homosexual riddled with communicable diseases.

Happy Saturday.
I went out last night. Dramalols all round, slept on a sofa, woke up at 8am with a conference call and a migration starting at 8:30. Racing in, head pounding, to sit at my desk unshowered and in last night's clothes, absolutely minging. Only to have a firewall problem that's put the job back by an hour.

I am going home for a much needed set of morning ablutions. I have, however, had the opportunity for a sausage sandwich and a mug of tea.

Tales of last night's adventure, woe, or plans for similar for the weekend ahead, please.
