WHY is no one talking?
I have nothing to do, nowhere to go, and my housemate is gone Out somewhere. I turn to the internet in the hopes that you will be able to entertain me, but frankly, you're all probably out enjoying that "sun" thing.

Im interested in this article
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19281492 though Im more interested in Dominic Casciani's analysis on how he might try and make it to the airport without getting arrested.

Be imaginative, how might he make it out of the country and onwards to Ecuador

200 replies is too much.
So here's a bbc news link www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19291911

It's gove's deptment being shit and giving the wrong information. This is the second time it's happened recently. Strange how the correct information is always worse eh?

Alt: I have a half day, who wants to touch me?

That thread is shit.
What questions should I ask in this one?
(, Fri 17 Aug 2012, 10:12, 210 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
I'm going to Birmingham AND Leamington today!
How rock 'n' roll is that!? What does your Friday hold in store for you, my fellow B3TANs? Do you have plans for tonight which include drink?

Alt: The Paralymics. Interested or not?
Altalt: I dunno, what's the finest breakfast you've ever had and where did you have it?

Hello is anyone there?
Seems strange no one is posting.
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 19:06, 78 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
The other thread had too much testosterone
football, cars, pretty girls and sun dried tomatoes.

So, how about you tell me something you've made recently, since no one cares about my adventures in glass.

alt: can you sew?

altalt: crocheting or knitting
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 16:25, 131 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
no offence bear but that seems to be dying a slow death
so i'll put it out of its misery. my colleagues think it's mad that i am squeamish about people sharing food and double dipping, but sharing a hairbrush doesn't bother me at all. what are you totally irrational about? and does it make sense to you?

alt: wtf is the point of sundried tomatoes? salty chewy little pieces of monkey's miscarriage. what supposedly fancy/tasty addition to food would you burn in hell?

altalt: ice in your drink - yes or no?
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 14:08, 251 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
Starting your own country.
Apparently, it's not that difficult to do, and get recognised as a microstate. Failing that, fuck it, go for a micronation.
What would you call yours? What laws would you pass? Name of your currency? And would you take up a seat in the UN, in the unlikely ocurence you were actually offered one?
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 13:05, 49 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
A thread for everybody to play in, since Al's is dying.
So, is age just a number? Can people of ten year's difference or more work out or are their respective stages of life too disparate? At what age does this cease to be an issue?

Or talk about any old crap, I guess. I'm not fussy. Talk about lunch, if you want. You can even tell me about the tie you're wearing if you really must, though that didn't seem to go down too well in the earlier thread.

Edit: Animal cruelty, eh? How about that, then?
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 11:29, 138 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
Daily Mail link for you.
I seem to be only linking to news storys of animal cruelty at the moment.

I just worked my arse of this morning and got a shit ton done. What about you lazy lot?
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 11:25, 14 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
Dozers thread is shit and populated by wankers like Captain Placid
So lets instead talk about A Level results day. They say that the grades won't go up this year because the exam boards were given different guidance.

Is this unfair on the poor little poppets who just want to get into Uni to spunk 3 years of mum and dads money up the wall, or is it a sensible decision to improve educational standards in this country?

Or, without changing the way schools actually teach subjects, is mucking around with the grading process just so much hot air?
(, Thu 16 Aug 2012, 9:25, 166 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
Gid moaning.
My team won the pub quiz last night, which means I have been on the winning team two weeks running. Which is nice.

What pattern tie are you wearing today? I would divulge details of mine, but I fear mockery from you autistic arselickers.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-19271076

No this is lol obviously, but why is it even news, cat probably not hurt, 8 year old kid being a prick shocker.

I don't really get how this is more important than all but one news story in the world today. why are the public and media so shit?

Alt: Can we have a TV show recommendation thread
(, Wed 15 Aug 2012, 15:44, 206 replies, latest was 12 years ago)

So rail frachises are in the news.
This is obviously big news for me. Because the west coast mainline is what I use whenever I go to London or see my family in Stafford.

First Groups bid was over £1 billion more than anyone else. So they've got to make £1 billion more Virgin have to just break even.

All sounds like another terrible government fuck up. Who cares?
