He's just phoned me up.
apparently all the cheap stuff has been robbed off, so he's coming home with a bottle of wine.

You're both winners in that case.
Although all this going to the shop talk has reminded me I'm out of cigarettes. There's wine but I can't sit in and drink wine without cigarettes. I have roll ups/tobacco but I'm not a tramp.

I don't like wine, so it's no use to me.
still, as long as he's happy.

Tastes like paint thinner to me.
I've tried red, white, sweet, dry, fizzy... all tastes like piss.

I used to hate red wine.
Now I love sitting out in the conservatory with mummy and a bottle. I think I've just grown up. And I detest most white wines, anything fruity is rancid. It has to be dry as ice for me, when you get a properly crisp, dry white it's unbelievable. Prosecco is my true weakness though.

There's an Italian restaurant in town that extended its premises to include a "Prosecco Bar" a year or two back.
Is it some kind of yuppie thing?

I don't know/don't think so.
It's just amazing sparkling white wine.

I doubt he'll find his pride anywhere on the reduced shelf at Morrisons

I don't think you'd find anybody's dignity anywhere in Morrisons.
Evening Rory. How are you?

They make a big song and dance if you grab a sun from the paper bit to read with your Morrisons all day breakfast, FOR FUCKS SAKE and the mandatory fried bread was fucking disgusting
I used to always see how many tissues it would soak in fat once I'd thrown it off my plate. That's how crazy I am. I'm off out now b3th, we may never speak again, stay true to me in your heart.
