This is a question PE Lessons

For some they may have been the highlight of the school week, but all we remember is a never-ending series of punishments involving inappropriate nudity and climbing up ropes until you wet yourself.

Tell us about your PE lessons and the psychotics who taught them.

Twonking
I remember telling several schoolmates that the PE teacher had come up with a new activity. It was called Twonking and was very popular in Scotland. It consisted of basically every boy having one arm tied behind his back and on the other hand a boxing glove. The pupils were made to wear scuba flippers also. The pupils would each take a spot in the gym hall approx 5m apart and when the lights were flicked out you had to flail around in the dark in an attempt to knockout your opponent. The flippers were just an aid to hear any approaching foe. Last man standing won. Most people didn’t believe me, but I made fatty Chris Pybuss cry.

This sounds similar
to the "thalidomide fights" my mother used to set me and my brother up to do...

Elbows to the side (but hands out), given a cushion and told to get on out knees and whack our hearts out of each other.

I still can't work out why my mother completely forbade (and in fact because she never did it either we didn't even know any racist swearwords until big-school) anything racist but thought it was fine to make fun of birth defects.

Flippers are a smashing touch though... sounds like something we'd do at Guides/Scouts.

Flid Fights for me
Get on your knees, hands up to shoulders and attempt to push each other over with your elbows... (Can't remember it ever being a parentaly sanctioned activity tho...)

Of course the slang term flid
Actually came from "thalidomide".

So clearly this is the same game!

My mum is odd.
See previous qotw answers...

I still don't think she'd "get" b3ta though, despite her instructions to "show me this shock site I was told about" when I got my first dialup connection at 13 years old (via t'absent parent) - there are particular kinks teenagers really shouldn't know about before they experience normal sexual things!
