More bizarre ones....
I have a couple of weird fears:

1. Sharp knives. The thought of skin being sliced open. I don't mind watching medical stuff *after* they have made the incision, though.
2. The marks left on rice pudding after the bubbles have burst. Makes me think of empty spots without their pus. First time I saw "Dr Who and Zygons", which had skin marks like that I nearly threw up.
3. Barnacles. I think if I put my hand on them they will rip it to shreds and eat me.
4. Bone dry towels. I feel as if they are in my mouth and squeaky. Don't ask.
5. Finding a razor blade in a bar of soap while I'm washing the hard way. Having my skin sliced.

I feel ill now. I'm going to sit down for a while...

Lake District child chefs
Me and the other half started to go up to Ambleside every so often and we would arrive around 9pm on a Friday. Bars going well, loads of people about.

So first of all we went to Mr Dodd's chip shop (now defunct, I think). "Sorry, we're closing in a minute." A chippie?

Never mind, we think, and the next day we go to the restaurant entitled "Mr Dodd's".

One of the very few places actually run by children. No manager, noone over 12 years old seems to be running the place. Ordered a grill. Received carbon. Wedged into a table that could have sat two Barbie dolls.

Needless to say that whenever we go back and are thinking about dinner the food at "Mr Dodd's" comes slightly after dwarf bread.

And the wine was shite too.

Still its best to find somewhere else after the Glass House went crap about five years ago.

Low dimensional conductors
I'm an expert in molecular electronics which sounds a lot more fun than it is. Though I haven't done it in a while.

Am trying to work out a way of putting 'low dimensional conductors' with 'Andrew Lloyd Webber' but can't be arsed. Make one up for yourself.

Regardez-vous le girth! Je regret rien!
