a bike on the bus route
doesn't quite fit, but its a good story with a happy ending!
as a teenager i used to get two buses home from school. the second route was a little used route by people from my school, but well used by girls from the local all girl comp. it tended to be just me and a small group of girls waiting for the bus.
there was one particular sass pot of a girl who took great pleasure in taunting me, frequently offering herself to me while i went a deep beetroot colour and wished the bus would come.
i used to wonder to myself what would have happened if I had had the balls to turn round and say 'yeah ok right here, right now, lets go!'
anyway, after a while she stopped getting the bus, or so i thought, it turned out tho after talking to one of her little gang that she was off school... having a baby... I guess that answered my question! lol

thats not the three second rule... this is
Twotailed fox is right, all the maccy d's stories are true.
the three second rule applied to burgers too when i worked there. and anyone who has worked in a mc'ds knows how grungy the floors get!
there were ALWAYS random unidentifieable items floating in the shake mix.
i knew a guy who cut his finger off with a tomato slicer, and a girl who's arm went into the fat fryer, these aren't urban legends, they happen all the time.

in my last year at uni i lived opposite the indian takeaway. they used to keep their kegs locked in the alley down the side of the restaurant. one night after a particularly heavy drinking session we noticed it was unlocked. and after investigation aquired ourselves two full kegs... four weeks and one rather large party later a policeman knocked on our door, asked for me by name and said 'i believe you can help us'
didn't actually get arrested because we hadn't gotten into one of the kegs and gave them back to the restuarant.
thats as close as i've come so far
