Missing Boxes
One of the companies that I worked for had a bit of a reshuffle in the server room, relocating services etc. and part of this was moving servers and computers into the new premises and getting them plumbed in.

They'd taken delivery of several £4K servers and got them delivered to the new offices, upon arrival the server geeks (Go Geeks!) connected everything up and left the pile of boxes sitting for collection.

A second delivery arrived of more new servers, the day that the empties and other rubbish was being picked up....

You can all see where this is going now can't you.

The refuse collection agents picked up the new servers, assumed that they were filled with rubbish; hoiked them into their bin wagon, and promptly crushed the lot of them, a 16K insurance claim ensued.

» Picky Eaters

Foods I used to not eat but do now....
Coleslaw - Not the runny cheap kind thats a funny green colour, the proper man coleslaw that you have to eat with a chainsaw!

Fish - Would never eat them until I started catching them, its a bad week for me if I don't eat fish twice now.

Broccoli - Used to despise it, now I just dislike it but eat it to annoy me mum as I never ate it when I lived at home, now I'm married I do it just to wind her up!

I can't think of anything else at the minute but for a picky eater you should see my wife, here is 3 things that she does/doesn't eat

Bananas but not banana flavoured
Pineapple falvoured but not pineapples
Fish, the smell makes her retch...

the last one might be my fault as I told her a story about what my uncle did with a fish-slice and then put back in the drawer, needless to say it involved a large white porcelain object, and a smaller (but still large) jobbie that refused to flush...
