Farting in a sleeping bag
At school camp when we were about 10 one of the lads was reduced to tears when someone told him that if he farted in his sleeping bag during the night it condensed into sh!t. The poor kid was terrified about what state he'd wake up in in the morning

» What was I thinking?

Never put your hands in your pockets while wearing tight jeans
if it has been raining and you have leather-soled shoes on as if you slip over you can't get your hands out of your pockets fast enough to stop your face hitting the pavement

Chicks might dig scars but broken teeth less so

The Quo ride bikes right?
Not exactly a dumb doing but a dumb saying....

We were talking the other night about the annoying proliferation of scooters amongst 16 year olds round here. On the one hand I can see the desire for mobility as soon as you can get it, but there's also an element of me that's sure that they believe that because their vehicle has 2 wheels they are therefore a superbike racer

Which is when "they think they're Francis Rossi" came out of my mouth

Star Wars Comics Gone FOrever
I, like many here I imagine, was and still am a bit of a Star Wars fan. I grew up in the late seventies when it was cool to take a party to the cinema to see the first film for your birthday. I saw it 17 times at the cinema

And had all the figures etc and also every issue of the comic, from issue 1 which I kept in the top of my cupboard in my bedroom

Then I went to university, moved out etc, and one day thought "hey I've got all those nice well kept comics from 20 odd years ago, bet they're worth a few quid"

But they were gone!! Victim of a clean out while I had been away. Ironically the rucksack full of porn was still there, but not really worth very much

» Accidental innuendo

Oh yes I had wood
After carrying some fence posts around in my car during a rare spot of DIYing and not bothering to clean up the splinters they left, I was asked by a girl at work who accepted a lift to the pub one lunchtime whether I had had wood in the back seat of my car at the weekend
