Here is one I wrote 10 years or so ago
which would have been more suited to the 70s/80s. And as a homophonic pun works better said out loud.

I went to the library the other day and asked if they had any books on the famous French submariner and film maker Jacques Cousteau.

The assistant said "I don't know. Have you tried looking under C?"
