BBC story here.
Virgin Galactic, two paying customers went up to 82.7km. That's "space" according to the US gov (over 80km); enough to award them astronaut wings, but not quite the generally accepted Kármán line of 100km.

This is a normal post I had an artist mate I met in Canada. He was a car dealer from Auckland but reinvented himself as a painter with a Maori name
Anyway, he achieved some minor fame making these giant triangle pictures with spacey abstract designs. He told me about 10 years ago that he'd made a deal with Branson to take his canvases up when he started his commercial space flights. Presumably they were going to be worth more having been in "space". I might give him a bell to find out if the beardy billionaire followed through
