I just don't get itPoor Semiret, he's foreign and has no idea if he "should laugh about the whole 'only playing music when they are out of ice cream' thing or not." There's also a Far Side cartoon that has had him stumped for almost 20 years.
What don't you understand? What have you politely gone along with whilst internally going WTF?

When I was a kid 7, 8 years oldMy friend told me that there was this movie which consisted of nothing but people walking around naked and every other word was a four-letter word. It was clear that he wasn't talking about pornography: this was a feature film... I always had one eye out for this gem.
As an adult I finally pieced together that he was telling me this as a result of overhearing his Mom complaining about the trash in American cinima in these modern times (this would be the '70's)... I can just hear his mother bitching about all the naked people and foul language.
It took me long enough to hear it, though.
