This is a normal post Hmmmm,
The ill conceived Euro currency certainly needs to 'prepare its anus'. Germany is going to get very cross
Merkel's response will make or break her.

This is a normal post Are you a 'hilarious parody account' of a Kipper this week or are you serous?
cause if you didnt see it (all over the news)this week, Draghi spend a TRILLION Euros keeping the dream alive. So as for '...Merkel's response will make or break her.' She has to do diddly squat. There's plenty of dogs in this fight. Greece is just a fly in the ointment, not a deal breaker.

This is a normal post Oh my dear chap,
quantitive easing is like putting an elastoplast on a gangrenous wound. Where does that money come from? It's created on computers, not by work, trade, or commerce. And they'll want it back, with interest. I know basic economics is beyond the ken of your pinko mind, the kind of simplictic mind that thought a one size fits all currency could work for a multitude of very different economies of very different sizes and potential, but you are in for a shock when reality bites. In the meantime, let's just keep kicking that empty tin can down the road.

And it's shitty "give it for free to the people at the top" policies?

Quantitative easing is THIEVING but done by people in nice offices who have degrees and good taste..
So it's alright.

This is a normal post fair enough.
Those politicians never let us down. And the consistency of, just for example, the IMF types is hard to beat. The UN is even better.

Basically Greece will say we won't pay, Germany will say that's not really on, we had an agreement that you'd be only have three sherbet lemons after lunch, but as I need to sell you some more sherbet lemons (to keep my factories in Baden barden munching glad back) open, so fill your boots. Journalists will wring their hands hot foot from Davos for as long as their expense account holds out.

This is a normal post Talked to my Greek sister-in -law today
Said she was the only one in her family that had voted. There's a large number of people who haven't because they've given up. When the Greeks don't beleive in voting it's time to take notice. The nation is truly stuffed. Her kids (my nephews), like many others, are heading this way for their education and careers. The brain drain of those youngsters who can do this further undermines hope for long-term recovery.
