haha
b3ta started out with lots of people photoshopping kittens. check out the early compos.
the full welcome phrase is 'Welcome to B3ta. Pull up a chair and shop a kitten'. It just gets mangled over time into sillier and sillier phrases.
very often just shortened to 'Welcome, kittens, chairs etc.'

I didn't think it was that bad a concept and there were some funny ideas.
I think it suffered a bit from the whole 'image macro in a new thread, fuck off you cunt' thing.

It would be fun to have a compo every now and then
where you would have to at least work on your image for an hour or longer

I'd like to see a compo where it's impossible to post anything that hasn't had 24 hours solid work on it.
No sleep, no having a piss. Thems the rules.

watching someone play through Goldeneye64 would be far better than ever having to sit through Casino Royale or QoS again...

For me, if they weren't billed as bond movies, I'd have found them passable. As it was, they just weren't bond movies.

Craig will make a great Bond. When he's given a proper Bond script

I bet he doesn't want his balls whipped through a chair again though

i thought Casino Royale was great
but I prefer to ignore that QoS exists. It's just all wrong. It's a blight on film-making, never mind Bond movies. The single stupidest story ever, with the shittest bad guy in history.
Next in the series: Meat or let meat: Bond vs. Peta.

Casino was definitely the better of the two, but it was just far too much of a Bourne film.

I enjoyed the grittiness of CR
it was nice to get away from the lameness of the Brosnan films (I also have a burning hatred of the sight of Pierce Brosnan)
