# Miss you, Jessie.
I wish I wasn't emerging from semi-retirement under such circumstances, but Jessie will be greatly missed by this Doctor.

She was there when I attended my first ever Bash, which I guess must be about five or six years ago. As you all know, I'm a shy and retiring kinda guy. I wandered into the James Brindley, looking for a bunch of Internet Geeks. They were easy to spot and turned out to be some of the acest people ever. Jess was amongst the first to welcome me to the 'real world' B3tards, and introduced me to many people who would become good friends.

The B3ta 'digital media arts community' (that's how I describe it to my mum) have been a wonderful bunch, and I've made some firm friends (oo-er)... and I'm happy to remember Jess as one of the very first, representing all that's good about 'the internet bringing people together'. Sounds like cheesy Microsoft marketing blurb, but it's true.

I've made some great friends online, and Jess is an example of all that's lovely: She was warm, caring, friendly, had a great collection of sexy boots, and will always be remembered by all that knew her.

Miss you Jess, but I know we'll always raise a glass or two wherever your friends get together, and you'll never be forgotten.
