What's the reflection in the brandy glass? Doesn't seem the right angle to be the soup-bowl, but then maybe I'm getting confused.

I think it's a table on the other side of the glassYou can see the plate on it if you look closely. (though no bowl, so you're right - it's not the soup).

expertly done.Veh, veh woo, but if I could make two little suggestions:
1) The lip on the soup edge is too pronounced - it's the only part that doesn't look photo-realistic.
