The bit in my head wasn't too bad, except the fact I could blow through an entire pack of kleenex one after another with the sheer amount of snot my nasal cavity was intent on pumping out.It was the coughing that fucked me up. I was at it for like 2 weeks. Still not quite right chest wise now.

i know this is going to sound like hippy bollocksbut i haven't had a bad cold or cough since i've been on vitamin and mineral supplements. never took them for 4 days over new year, got a cold. started taking them again and the cold went. the cough, which, after 20+ years of smoking will usually linger for at least a month, was gone in 2 days.
