# I wonder how much they'd sell a belkin one for!

# The PC World pricing is as follows.
(Normal price elsewhere * 52.7) round up - 1p if(Belkin) * 5.3

So, by my calculations, the Belkin one would be about the cost of terraced house in Liverpool.

# That's about right too!
Is that including the techguy insurance..... rip off cnuts!

# Then there's the three-year "No quibbles" (stop laughing!) money-back guarantee.

# The only way you'll ever get money back is by taking them to court
which we did but we found that even our legal team was on their side :(
So we ended up settling for pittance.

# I was in there the other day
Some bloke was buying a pointless piece of technology when the woman on the till said "You can take 5-year insurance out on this item for £99.99" (or whatever).

The bloke said, "Oh, is that all? Then again, of course, I'm within my rights to bring it back if it breaks in 5 years regardless."

Then the thick cnut went and bought fucking insurance!

As it happens, I was buying another pointless device that has now gone wrong. But going back there is about as appealing as giving Barrymore the reach-around.

# Haha
Yeah, I'll never buy their insurance again, their techguys don't even know what they're doing. The only insurance worth buying is at Game imo.

# Wait, what?
Last time I bought a Belkin thing it was about a tenth of the price of others. Have they gone all 'Gold HDMI cables for £200'?

# Yes, Belkin has come of age .. Trendnet is the new 'cheap'

# Are they the gold paint plated ones
that break and don't screw in properly?
(, Sat 22 Jan 2011, 16:11, archived)
# They only sell belkin
but there are much cheaper (more shitty) manufacturers out there.
