Very few people know WTF "plurality" means, so use "majority" to mean "more than anyone else". Hence why someone had to invent the entirely pointless term "overall majority".

Putting it like that also avoids talking about the 50% "line", which people keep referencing to make it sound simpler, but is actually really confusing when you ask "50% of what?"



Shit, does this mean I'm defending not only the BNP, but the No2AV campaign? Erm... YEAH, TOSSERS!
