About 30 seconds into the film, Stallone took his helmet off
and every Dredd fan watching went, "Oh, for fuck's sake!"
Incredibly, it got worse from there.

Don't forget
not sending the 'comedy' sidekick to the cubes at the end of it all and putting up with Hershey snogging him.

right, gotcha
i was never really into dredd when it was about.
i do know it could've and should've been a cool film, but it was your usual, run of the mill, hollywood dross

soon, whoever's playing dredd, will have the most typecast chin in history.

to be fair you don't need an actor for dredd
some giant angry monotone plank of wood will do, as long as he appears to be a fucking huge and scary nazi of a bloke with no sense of soul.
Or at least that's how I've always seen him.

I thought he seemed quite goood as Bones too.
I'm not bothered about Dredd having a huge chin, as long as they don't fuck with the character too much.
Someone playing Dredd with a normal size chin isn't as bad as, for instance, the fact that Tom Cruise is likely to play Jack Reacher.

Don't get me started on this,,,
It's especially annoying as in the new one (the Affair,) Reacher even looks like Ryan Hurst (Opie from Sons of Anarchy.)
Who would be the ideal choice (maybe with a blond dye-job) if you were going to film the books chronologically (starting with The Enemy.)
