# yeah, but the convergence rule applies.
in that case ^^^ its two points.

# Prolly. I do it all with computers these days
and big expensive fuck off CAD systems...

# That was the kind of work I was hoping to get into
but the wax crayon incident, coupled with the fact that my college didnt do a graphics course kind of chose my career path for me...

# I've heard that
you can actually do GCSEs in all sorts of cool topics now like Music Technology and stuff.

Cunts. All we had was Religious Brainwashing Education, Maths and Cookery. And other things. Is it no wonder that I'm a disillusioned big headed wankstain now?

No.

# Looks like
three points to me
(, Mon 12 May 2003, 13:40, archived)
# no, its only two
the third point is where the two converge. Its not actually a point.
(, Mon 12 May 2003, 13:42, archived)
# yeeeeeeeeees
but its not actually a point! its just the convergence of the other two points! otherwise youd have to add a point for every set of lines you drew that converged.

# I'm
confused

:(

sorry

# the example you showed
doesnt use three points. You start by drawing two points on the page, then all the lines must come from those points. the third "point" in that example is just the convergence of the the lines. Its not actually a point because none of the lines come from there. Its kinda hard to describe.
(, Mon 12 May 2003, 14:03, archived)
# Surely the
vertical lines in that example come from the third 'point'?

Sorry, I'm sure I don't know nearly as much about this as you, that's why I can't really argue - I just remember being told about this at school, and I want to know if I've been wrong all these years : )
