# too happy for me.
not that im one of those miserable goth types or anything, i just find happy bouncy music wears thin really quickly. Aggressive music is much more my thing.
(, Sat 6 Sep 2003, 21:13, archived)
# True,
but you can listen to The Specials at any time and they will never wear thin :)
(, Sat 6 Sep 2003, 21:15, archived)
# granted, the specials are cool.
but they arent as bouncy happy as most other ska punk bands. I prefer music to reflect my mood as opposed to try and cheer me up n shit. I like music that makes me feel like I could tear someones head off.

# I used to be like that
but I saw the light when one of my mates got knocked unconscious in the pits at One Minute Silence when they played in Glasgow :)

# its strange that cos ive been in some vicious pits in my time
and always come out unscathed, but last year i went to see oasis in finsbury park with some mates (i didnt really want to go, but had to cos im the only one that knows people in london that could put us up), they came onstage, someone tripped me up, someone else punched me twice in the face, and someone started kicking me in the head. I was fucking covered in blood. I had to go get cleaned up and I missed the entire gig. That I paid £30 to go and see. With money I got back from gun N Roses, my all time ALL TIME fave band, cancelling. I was not happy.

# i've got tickets for limp bizkit at finsbury park

# pffft nu metal
emo melodic hardcore is the way forward in life.
that or new york jazz metalcore.
(, Sat 6 Sep 2003, 21:32, archived)
# I'm sorry, I fucking HATE emo.
They should all just shut the fuck up once in a while and stop fucking complaining. Who gives a shit about the way forward? The best music has already been made, in the form of Led Zep, Hendrix, GNR, and Thrash. The music scene is a fucking disgrace at the moment. I cant think of a single new band that I actually really like.
