I really dig where hes at, his ideas on the convergence of communication and connectivity are bang on. He's linking to me from diepunyhumans.com when I go online with my new site, its www.palmpixels.com - essentially animated and other video content for handheld users, currently bashing our brains out on encoding and database backend.

when will the mobile phoneproviders switch to the fast-ass protocol (what it calles UMTS?) in the UK? in japan people alreday use their mobiles more to watch tv and play games than to talk on the phone

and here in the UK (and Id imagine switzerland/euro) its gonn abe another 2 years or so I reckon. Im workign on a deal with T-Mobile to serve viral type images across their european wap provision services at the moment, under the banner of palmpixels, kind of holding thumbs on it at the moment as they are slow moving in decision making.
