# hee hee. ace
evening all.
I've just opened a gif in photoshop, and it wont let me create new layers on it, even when i paste something in, it remains resolutely mono-layered, which is frankly a bit of a hindrance.
has anyone else had this happen before? or does anyone know why it might be so?
i'd be most grateful for any advice anyone can provide.
oh, and i've alread tried wanking it hard

# Errrm.....
Copy it, then paste it as a new thing and try it?

# it's because
you still have it as an indexed-colour image, you need to convert it to RGB first
