Based on the old principal of correspondance chess, which I still play by e-mail. Failing that, Othello? May be called something else in the States.

Although I'm sure it could be simplified to a point. No AI required, and some mutual understanding of the rules should leave out some code. I wouldn't like to try it though, and I doubt you would either ;)
