# Good point, well made.
Maybe expansion is only possible if the donations provide enough cash to keep the server in line with the load, without taking it to the edge.

# he said if I wrote one, he'd give it a try
and take it down if the bandwidth became too much.

I've found an article on interfacing flash games for multiple players. If I ever feel the motivation to learn to do that, it may reduce the load on the server. Or it may not, I don't know

# I don't think the server load on m3ss3nger
was helped by the xk of javascript it had to load every time you made a move/refreshed/breathed.

# yes that's what I thought
if there was just a way to send a little message telling something to update, that would be good. I don't know if that's easy to implement though

# I wouldn't know, but it's an interesting idea.
Let me know what you discover. Maybe I could help out at some point.

Oh, and here's a m3ss3ng3r nostalgia-related repost.

# Thing is
m3ss3ng3r did that to me all the time, telling me that I was the only one on, often at midday on a weekday or something.

Edit: But not necessarily with the rude message, though.

It's idiosyncrasies made it all the more loveable.
