It's university. No one is going to stop you from sodding off and going to the pub.

It's not as if lectures are compulsory. Grab the notes form someone else if you are really bothered.

Or just spend one week before the exams trying to study an entire 4 years worth of subjects.

but today's a test lab - for some comedy reason, we're gonna be marked on our participation and knowledge so far collated (remembered) this semester.

it's a good job i have cheat notes under my desk.......

Second year only accounts for something like 20-25% of your final grade
It's the third and fourth years that actually matter.
