# Ive not seen that
one yet. Have the 2dvd of Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi but the other is not released in the UK yet. As far as i know.

# What a great film...
Never been able to get into Powaaqatsi tho meself...
Seen the third one?
(, Mon 26 Apr 2004, 1:09, archived)
# See above
i like the opening sequance in Powaqqatsi with the miners. and some of the koean bits (like the masses of tower blocks) are striking images. but i could watch Koyaanisqatsi over and over again. But not type it though.

# Koyaanisqatsi Koyaanisqatsi Koyaanisqatsi Koyaanisqatsi Koyaanisqatsi
;)
Know what you mean tho, I used to leave it playing late at night before going to sleep...Koyaanisqatsi Koyaanisqatsi Koyaanisqatsi etc etc...
Haven't seen Naqoyqatsi (?) either, but from what I've read it's awful, a complete travesty compared to the first two..
hey ho.
(, Mon 26 Apr 2004, 1:13, archived)
# Arse.
Will have to get it though just to complete the collection i guess. my personal favourite Koyaanisqatsi moment is the guy in the ice cream shop.
(, Mon 26 Apr 2004, 1:17, archived)
# Damn you
I'm gonna have to stick that on tonight now to remind myself of the bit you mean...
Only things I can remember atm are the grand canyon shots and the beginning and the people commuting and the sausages/factory...bit like the opening titles to Soylent green but accelerated...
You ever play Delta on the c64 btw?
(, Mon 26 Apr 2004, 1:24, archived)
# im afraid i was
a spectrum boy myself. never got to have a go on a c64.
(, Mon 26 Apr 2004, 1:27, archived)
# Ah right...
hey ho, just mentioned it as the tune from that was basically a blatant ripooff/homage to Koyaanisqatsi, but sped up a bit...One to look out for sometime (if you like old style c64 tunes that is)
I'm orf to dig out my dvd and go to bed now, n'night!
(, Mon 26 Apr 2004, 1:32, archived)
# May well do the same myself shortly.
