TJ: Can anyone recommend me a Japanese-look english text font? I'm looking for something with a jaggy, sharp look. *flutters eyelids*

Try looking under chinese fonts
there are many 'chinese menu' type fonts that look jaggy and sharp

May be a bit late...
... but I find www.dafont.com to be thoroughly satisfying when I need some hard typeface action. I think they even have a section of Japanese-looking fonts.

You heard Wake Up Boo on the radio
and that predicts a good day. If I heard that I'd descend into a spiral of murder and violence probably.
