More of my old poetry, given a picture for the competition
Fish
O Fish,
Intangible wisdom lingers
As you turn through plastic pages
With intangible fish-fingers.
Fish have been around for ages,
Noble fish, fish of yore,
You who hold the seabed down
And so the shore.
Ancient fish,
Bearded haddock mentors frown
At we who wish
To supercede your timelessness
By eating you with cress.
