# It's a bit woo, but

EDIT: Now that less and less people are using dial-up in favour of broadband, should we here at b3ta be more accepting of images larger than 200k?

# Hey what am I doing
with a red-ex on me head?

# Not a redex, good sir
But a 'generic image type thing', if you just stick an <img> tag in without any supporting information that's what you get, wonder what you get under other browsers?

# Im using Konqueror
and I get what looks like a piece of paper torn in half.

# Is that what you get for a duff url too?
(, Fri 6 Aug 2004, 21:07, archived)
# No, that's just for broken images.
Don't think it has a specific duff url icon.

Edit: no, you're quite right, I'm talking poo: the intact piece of paper is 'an image goes here', the duff url/broken image is the ripped paper.

# Nah
If images just get bigger, then the speed advatnage of broadband will just be ground down.
