i sawthe National theatre production the other day - very impressive, but a shitty script. Tom Stoppard's written the film scripts, so maybe there's hope...

ooh...Actually, reading that interview, I think he seems to know his stuff - my faith is restored! the good thing about About a Boy is that he gets a very good performance out of that kid, which bodes well I think. Chris Columbus royally fucked up Harry Potter because he has no idea how to direct children...they look like they're in a fucking nativity play.
