my first car was £20 and dad made me get it through the MOT all on my own to teach me how to fix a car so I wont be stuck if I break down, the bastard.

Don't go wrapping it round a lamp post now, young 'un...
My first (legal) car was a Y-reg Morris Ital, inherited when my mother realised it was crap and got a new one. My mate fitted an MG gearbox to it which gave it an awesome 0-60 time of just 3m 27s. Whew!
