I have just got back from "War of the Worlds" and must say
I agree that the board is seriously f'in warped. Have just scrolled back and seen
pics nearly 2Mb in size not linkied, far too many weird and perverted images, HUGE
images and total sanity of the board seemingly lost
still, the film was ok

'Ning Doctor! i preferred the old one
but this one does exactly what it says on the tin.
All the actiony type stuff does happen around the story of the family, and not directly on screen and
Midget Cruise going around. occasionally the two things meet for some good
good set pieces, but for me, close encounters is a better speilberg/sci fi film

yes, that was rather good
but did you notice when all that artillery opf the hill was firing, jets, helicopters, tanks etc, you didnt actually see any of the direct action, only the aftermath, which was kinda cool.
i like the focus of how we would all react, that was quite groovy

yes, it was actually quite tastefully shot for a hollywood blockbuster, which surprised me...

go for something
which means something to you, otherwise you'll end up hating it

its worth going to see
the premise is good, and it doesnt have the \'feel' of a big blockbuster
and, on the plus side, its always nice to see the yanks get an 'ass whippin on the fourth of july
